    1. I don’t think so. We’re not really on track for any streaks. This is pretty normal for us. We actually had a mildish May and June, which I think set my mental thermostat low. 😉

  1. I’m with you on the last one. However, let’s be honest: ridiculously hot summer temps are not necessarily, in and of themselves, proof of climate change.

What they ARE is utterly miserable, though. 😦 Think cool thoughts!

  2. I understand your pain. Your melting-into-a-puddle pain. The last few days we’ve had temps in the 90s. However, with humidity etc it always feels around 105 degrees. Literally. For some reason our feel-like temps are 10 degrees higher these days. The only one in my family not getting sick from the heat is my son. Kids are so resilient. Or they’re too stupid to know that they should be dying from the heat. …Maybe a bit of both. 😉 hehe

    1. I little of both, I bet. The thing for me is that on the gulf coast where I grew up, it’s humid, but you’ve got a breeze. But in the city, the pavement just turns it into a broiler. Bleh. So we can commiserate. 😓🔥🌇

  3. Love your latest post about you in the summer. I share your feelings Completely! Of course I blame it on only be transplanted from WV some 40 years ago.

    1. Yeah, I get grief all the time because I was born here. No excuse. And I’m the only one in my family like this. Everyone else loves the sun, and I’m like Olaf the snowman, except I complain a lot more.

  4. Escape to the mountains for a week. Lows 74 (or lower) and highs high 80s to low 90s. Plus lots of breases!, just got back and it was great!
